Ltd
Wilson Hellaby Ltd was formed in 1998 through the merger of meat business
interests of the Hellaby family and Wilson Foods. Both businesses
have a long history in the New Zealand meat industry.
The company owns Auckland Meat Processors Ltd which is the largest
multi species plant in NZ, killing over 200,000 Cattle, 600,000 Sheep
and Lamb, and 150,000 Pigs per annum. The kill also includes venison
and goats.
The main focus of the business is supplying
fresh, quality meat to the local market whether it be supermarkets, butchers,
hotels, restaurants, institutions, or meat processors. Product is produced to
both USDA and EU standards and a range of products is exported. |
